There is no cost to attend, and webinar participants can receive scholarships valued at $400 for the Lung Association’s Not On Tobacco facilitator training. Unlike other cessation programs that adapt adult curricula, N-O-T was specifically designed for teenagers and addresses issues that are particularly relevant to them. The program takes a holistic approach, using various interactive learning strategies based on the Social Cognitive Theory of behavior change, which can be applied in everyday life. It encourages voluntary change among youth aged 13 to 19. Obtaining a N-O-T certification can help you understand youth who are addicted to vaping and provide you with tools to assist them, which could be beneficial in your work. Hosting a clinic is not mandatory for certification. All we ask is that you promote the N-O-T program and our N-O-T for Me self-guided, mobile-friendly online program.
